Telecare Consultant

 

As part of the AXA Group, PPP Taking Care provides around the clock support to over 52,000 people.  Through our personal alarm service we give people the confidence to live well and remain in the home they love.  This is just the first step towards a greater ambition – to be the single source of products, services, information and advice our customers can trust to take care of the essentials of life.  

 

We are looking to recruit two full time Telecare Consultants to join our team to help us achieve our ambition for growth. You will work Mondays to Fridays (37.5 hours per week) plus 18 Saturdays on a rota basis. The areas to be covered are a) Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas (including Norfolk, Leicestershire and Lincoln), and b) Nottingham and surrounding areas (including Derbyshire, Mansfield, Peterborough and Northampton).

 

The Telecare Consultant is a role where you will support the Company’s ambition for growth by demonstrating and installing PPP Taking Care personal alarms, key safes and other products, safely and securely.

 

This role would suit someone with an empathetic nature, who is able to work unsupervised and has a passion for delivering high quality customer service. Previous sales and/or installation experience would be desirable, as would good IT skills.

 

As a Telecare Consultant:

  • Visit our customers on pre-arranged appointments to diagnose faults and to provide customer support on site post installation plus undertake preventative maintenance calls.
  • Triage faulty units providing onsite root cause analysis and, where possible, fix the problem through technical knowledge.
  • Convert enquiries to sales to meet sales targets and support the vision of PPP Taking Care.
  • Contribute to the development of additional marketing opportunities.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of all PPP Taking Care products, services, procedures & technical data.

Essential Skills:

  • The candidate must live in the appropriate area.
  • Good standard of education at GCSE level or above - or equivalent.
  • One to one demonstration skills.
  • Previous experience in a telecare environment and dealing with people in later life.
  • Ability to use electrical tools as and when required.
  • Good knowledge of the relevant areas.
  • Excellent communication skills

This position will be field based and as there will be travel involved with the role, you will need your own transport and hold a clean, valid driving licence. This role will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.

 

Salary: £22,000 p.a. plus car allowance of £450 per month.  There will be a payment of £85 for each Saturday worked.

Customer Sales Advisor

We are looking to recruit customer sales advisors to join our friendly team and help us achieve our ambition for growth. This is a new role where you will effectively process and convert incoming/outgoing sales leads through all channels, and take payments as required. You will create efficient appointments, and manage our field based staff.

 

This role would be suited to someone who is a “people person” who has an open and friendly attitude, and can demonstrate empathy towards customers.  There is no hard selling or cold calling.

 

As a Customer Sales Advisor you will:

  • Achieve and close sales and conversion targets.
  • Build rapport and use opportunities and increase peripheral sales
  • Have experience of making inbound and outbound calls.
  • Efficiently manage diaries of the field staff.
  • Follow up prospective clients as per KPIs.
  • Complete all outbound calls in line with current KPIs.

Essential Skills:

  • Good standard of education to GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Experience of telesales and customer service
  • A proven experience of excellent sales conversions, with the ability to work to targets.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.
  • Must possess attention to detail skills.
  • A confident, calm and customer focussed approach.
  • The flexibility to work shift patterns. Although initially working hours will be 9am to 5pm, as the business grows this will change to a rota covering 8am – 8pm, Monday to Saturday, including Bank Holidays.

The position will initially be based at our head office in Ashburton, however as we are a rapidly expanding company, we will be moving to Exeter during 2018. It has yet to  be decided whether this role will move to the second site.

We are looking to recruit one part time Telecare Consultant to join our team to help us achieve our ambition for growth. The part time role is to work Thursdays & Fridays (15 hours per week) plus Saturdays on a rota in the Cumbria area.

Job: Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Loughborough
Salary: £35,000-£60,000 

 

Role Description:

  • Work directly with the CTO, CEO and external contractors.
  • Develop on our existing firmware and to lead new projects from the start
  • Help to create and implement a range of proprietary algorithms around health monitoring.

Desirable skills:

  • Experience with ARM Cortex m4 architecture
  • Experience with FreeRTOS
  • Experience with embedded signal processing algorithms
  • Knowledge of Zigbee, Z-wave, BLE and other wireless protocols.
