The provision of Assisted Living Technology (ALT) takes place principally through the NHS and local authority services. However, reduction in public funding has led to some individuals no longer being eligible for these services and many are having to look at becoming self-funded consumers. Coventry University have led a 3-year study on Consumer Models for Assisted Living - www.comodal.co.uk, that supported an initiative to raise public awareness of assistive technologies (ATHome) and creation of a website (www.athome.uk.com).

The ATHome website has been live for almost two years, and Coventry University are now exploring the impact the COMODAL research and ATHome website has had on both consumers and suppliers of ALT products. You have been sent this email because you are working within assisted living services or are a supplier of assistive technologies. We would appreciate it if you could take the time to complete this online survey. It is hoped that this research will aid the understanding of how this market and the services provided are changing, particularly in response to the evolving needs of our ageing population.

The survey should take no more than 15 minutes. If you would like to know more and take part in the survey please follow the link below. Please return your responses by 26th of May
