We are excited to announce that Alcuris have been awarded Best Independent Living Solution in the Digital Health innovation section of the Future Digital Awards 2021 run by Juniper Research.

The Awards recognise organisations that have made outstanding contributions to their industry and are positioned to make a significant impact in the future.

Since 2008, the Future Digital Awards have been awarded to tech companies at the forefront of their respective fields: companies that deliver imaginative, innovative products or services that have the potential to disrupt their ecosystems and provide significant benefits to their target audience.

Alex Nash, Alcuris Manging Director said

“This award reflects the future direction of care that is more integrated, interoperable and preventative and we are excited to play our part. It’s an honour for Alcuris to be recognised by the prestigious digital technology analyst Juniper Research and I would like to thank them, the judges, our customers, our connectivity partner Eseye and the team for this award.”

Paul Marshall, Chief Customer Officer at Eseye said

Alcuris’ Memo Digital Telecare Solution is a breakthrough innovation in digital care, enabling professionals to take a more proactive and integrated approach that results in a better outcomes and more personalised care. The entire Eseye team is extremely humbled to receive this recognition; we are proud to play a part in providing reliable connectivity for Alcuris’ entire ecosystem of care providers, families, and local authorities. The digital-first approach is only set to grow in the future, with analogue-powered telecare services becoming defunct in the UK by 2025.”

Alcuris is also announcing the launch of its direct-to-consumer offer, Memo. The new service sets out to support people living independently for as long as possible and provides family and friends with positive reassurance when all is well and alerts if activity patterns change. This creates opportunities to intervene early and minimise the chances of potential future crisis events. Recent research has shown.

  • Over80% of people agreed that if there was a way of being alerted to any unusual behaviour, they'd would be more comfortable with their elderly or vulnerable loved ones living independently at home for longer.
  • Over 80% of families said Memo provided an increase in reassurance and peace of mind with all of them saying it enabled them to provide more support.
