Hi I’m Louise. I have been working in the health and social care sector since sixth form. During my time there I was lucky to find a work placement at a residential care home for adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. It was situated on the most beautiful 10-acre farm, with animals and huge gardens. It was a very special place to work, so much so that I stayed for the next 11 years. At this time I started to wonder what I should be looking to do next.
I found an organisation that was specialising in putting innovation into the NHS. I learnt so much whilst working there and made some great networks. After four years I started to wonder if a job existed that combined my passion for helping those who are often forgotten in society and implementing new technologies to support personalised care.
This is when I heard about the upcoming programme manager role at TSA. I’m really happy to be joining the TSA team. I look forward to working to support those who need it most and supporting the team, turning ideas into a reality. Let this new journey begin!
Personally, I love travelling, reading, music, and taking my dog for walks in the local area. I’m very lucky to be part of a large family and love spending time with my nephews. In particular I enjoy our day trips to the zoo!
