TEC Services Association Appoints Former Head of amica24 as New Operations Director

Former Head of amica24 Rupert Lawrence has been appointed Operations Director at TEC Services Association (TSA). His posting signals a critical juncture for TSA during a time of internal expansion and increased opportunities across the technology enabled care sector.

Rupert is well-known in the sector as a passionate advocate of TEC and a dynamic leader with deep experience in system transformation. His previous seat on TSA CIC’s Board representing service providers in England allows him a perspective that is both operational and strategic. This new role within the organisational structure of TSA will help shape and guide future growth and development of TSA and its standards framework within the subsidiary TEC Quality.

He has a wealth of experience working with the public and private sectors to deliver effective technology enabled care services. His insight into service re-design, technical innovation and working with a wide variety of stakeholders to achieve outcomes will greatly benefit TSA’s work in promoting the advantages that TEC provides and developing proactive and preventative models of care.

Commenting on the announcement, Rupert Lawrence said:

“I am absolutely delighted to be joining TSA at such an exciting time not only for the organisation but for the TEC sector. Seizing the significant opportunities that the TEC landscape now presents is something I’m really looking forward to.

My ambitions as Operations Director include working closely with our business units across TSA and with the memberships as we start preparation for the next Business Plan which will bring real change and significant enhancement of what our ‘offer’ is, so that we increasingly add value and support the needs of all stakeholders.

My ambitions for the TEC sector is to support in driving forward with the awareness and adoption of proactive and preventative care solutions, alongside standards, through service re-design and the shift to digital technologies. At such a critical time for our industry, the need to adopt a more agile, ambitious and dynamic approach is ever more important, and helping organisations achieve this will be a key focus of my role.
