As a result of recent feedback and following a series of discussions with a wide range of customers, Tunstall has conducted a review of the Terms and Conditions for Lifeline Smart Hub. This process was undertaken to strike a careful balance between providing important legal protection for customers, protection for Tunstall and satisfying specific concerns raised.
The following is a summary revised T&Cs below. In addition, and for those that have provided detailed feedback previously, attached is a brief summary of all the points we have amended or removed.
The purchasing model has also changed with Smart Hubs now available using a capital purchase model. This enables an upfront payment for both the device and the chosen subscription period, removing any requirement for recurring monthly payments.
Tunstall hopes these changes demonstrate their willingness to listen to their customers, and to work in partnership with them to continuously improve products and services.
