Training

TSA now provides face-to-face industry training packages and e-learning training modules designed to provide members and stakeholders with the knowledge they need to work in the Technology Enabled Care industry. 

Our face-to-face training packages have been designed to raise awareness, develop skills, knowledge and expertise and understand how Technology Enabled Care can support the delivery of integrated services to enable health and wellbeing and maintain independent living.

The packages can be viewed here and include:
  • Introduction to/Understanding Telecare - 1/2 day
  • Telecare Awareness – Emergency Services - 1/2 day 
  • Assessing for Telecare - 1 day

TSA's online training is launching very soon and has been developed in partnership with Learning Curve Group giving members access to online training materials. Initial modules being launched include Call Monitoring, Installation, Response Services and Fire Survival Guidance. 

There is also a TSA Member discount for a number of industry qualifications offered by the Centre for Housing and Support.
