Paul Shead

Paul Shead was appointed Chair of TSA in June 2017. He has been working in the telecare industry since 1994, first as a monitoring service provider and then as a supplier.

As Chief Executive for TSA. Alyson leads strategic development, implementation and risk management for the Associations’ aspirational vision to growth the Industry at scale as well as improve lives nationally.

Finance Director
Ian Clayton

 

Ian joined the organisation as Finance Director in September 2015. He is a qualified accountant and has been a Finance Director since 1988.

Dianne has worked in Telecare services for over 23 years and is currently TrustLink Service Manager for Peaks & Plains Housing Trust in Macclesfield.

Steve Smith
Welbeing

 

Steve has over 30 years of experience in the telecare sector including Managing Director roles within Modern Vitalcall, Cirrus Communications/Careline UK and Tunstall Healthcare, as well as significant consulting experience as Director of HPS Consulting.

Mark Westall
Tendring District Council

 

Mark has spent over 30 years in customer facing and commercial roles, mostly in the private sector. Now Head of Customer and Commercial Services at Tendring District Council, customer satisfaction is high on his list of priorities. He is currently the lead for Customer Service and Channel Shift and projects include the expansion of Tendring Careline and the creation of a Customer Service hub and district wide access points for the Council.

Sharon Ewen
Bield Response 24

 

Sharon has worked in the telecoms industry with BT since 1979, moving into telecare with Bield Response24 (BR24) in 2002.

Sarah Turvey-Barber
Monmouthshire County Council

 

Sarah has worked for Monmouthshire County Council within Housing since 2007 in a variety of different roles. She currently manages the Careline service provision and previously led and managed services across the Banking and Engineering sectors. These different roles ensure that Sarah has the experience and knowledge to develop strategies, drive policy implementation and lead individuals to ensure collective success.

Kevin McSorley
Fold TeleCare

 

Kevin is Executive Director of Fold Telecare, Fold Housing Association, which he joined in September 1993 to set up and develop its social alarm and telecare monitoring services.

Douglas joined the TSA as a non-executive Board Member in February 2016. He has twenty years’ experience in electronics - specialising in wireless communications in all its guises.
