About IoT Solutions Group

We are a growing organisation with ambitious plans to make a positive difference in people's lives through Internet of Things technology, and have already saved lives.

We work with private and public sector organisations, helping them deliver their services more efficiently and with greater impact. Our solutions help improve environments, reduce vehicle emissions, minimise service and maintenance costs across several areas and enhance the lives of vulnerable people.

We launched in 2018 to bring the power of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to the masses without the need for complex, multi-party procurement and integration.

Our team is hungry, dynamic, honest and collaborative. We challenge each other, we have fun, and we disrupt.

For the right applicant, there is an excellent opportunity to grow with the organisation, reap significant returns and be a crucial cog in the company's future success.

About You

A strong character fit is vital. We are looking for someone who is energetic, challenging, articulate and an effective listener. You will need a sense of fun and be able to engage your clients in real-world conversations – not baffle them with jargon. IoT is a new concept to many, so you need to be able to explain how technology can help solve their challenges without being too technical.

Ideally, you have experience selling into or working with/in public sector organisations, this is a key segment for us with significant opportunities for growth across our portfolio. Ideally, we are looking for someone with Account Management experience in the Adult Social care or Housing space.

You don't need prior experience with IoT, but an interest in, and understanding of, technological concepts is important. Full technical training will be provided.

You must be able to drive your own schedule independently and be responsible for generating new opportunities. You are both a hunter and a farmer. You will be required to conduct site visits occasionally and work with the technical team to plan how a solution should be deployed. You must be willing to be hands-on, serve our clients and build your understanding of the market.

Experience using and maintaining customer records in a CRM (such as Hubspot) is a distinct advantage.

Whilst being a confident self-starter, you will be part of a team and be able to help others and seek help when required.

You will have the drive to make a difference to individuals' lives and help organisations deliver on their goals by working in partnership and developing long-standing strategic relationships. A full UK driving licence is preferred.
