The TSA is the industry and advisory body for technology enabled care (TEC) in the UK
We work and lobby for the increased uptake of digital solutions and TEC into health and social care.
Our mission is to drive the transformation and growth of the TEC industry.
Our vision is that people can choose technology enabled care to enrich and enhance their everyday lives.
We work alongside and advise TEC organisations through our business and system transformation advisory services, workforce development training Academy, Quality Standards Framework, and membership services.
Our stakeholders include telecare and telehealth providers, suppliers, housing associations, care providers, health and social care commissioners, government bodies, procurement frameworks, emergency services, academia, charities.
We are stronger together – greater influence, louder voice, cohesive sector approach
We help organisations that commission and supply technologies such as telehealth, telecare, and telemedicine as well as digital health services including self-care apps, health IT, mHealth, eHealth, smart home technologies, artificial intelligence, connectivity and Internet of Things solutions.
We drive up standards, influence national policy, provide access to the commissioning landscape, offer advice around TEC procurement, share good practice and provide workforce development services. We run many events across the UK every year, including regional showcases, surgeries and our flagship ITEC Conference and awards.
Embracing a Digital Future for Care Workforce and Residents
A new film from TEC Services Association and Skills for Care, highlights how social care providers can embrace technology in their organisation for better outcomes for both service users and care professionals.
OUR IMPACT ON THE TEC SECTOR
TSA work programmes and strategic activity during COVID-19 accelerated its support of the TEC sector and its influence in the wider health and social care network.
