TSA’s International Technology Enabled Care Conference Rescheduled to March 2021 Due to Coronavirus
The TEC Services Association (TSA) is the representative body for technology enabled care (TEC) services and the organiser of the International Technology Enabled Care (ITEC) conference which was scheduled to take place on 2nd & 3rd November at the ICC, Birmingham.
TSA has been closely monitoring updates on the spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus, and has been assessing the ramifications of holding large face-to-face events later this year.
The health and safety of our visitors, exhibitors and staff is always our number one priority. This is particularly pertinent in the care and health sector communities that the ITEC Conference brings together.
Many of our visitors are providing frontline TEC services and supporting the most vulnerable members of society. The TEC workforce will be critical to ongoing containment and management strategies, and with this at the forefront of our minds we have taken the decision to reschedule the ITEC Conference into March 2021.
While this is not a decision that has been taken lightly, we feel that it is the right decision for the conference and the whole TEC sector.
The COVID 19-Coronavirus is an unprecedented situation and the safety of our attendees is paramount and having consulted the management of the ICC, the March 2021 dates are not only the most practical but also the safest.
The rescheduled dates for the ITEC Conference will be the 30th & 31st March 2021.
We have been liaising with our sponsors and exhibitors, and we are delighted to have their support in postponing the conference into 2021.
Further updates will be published in due course.
