Exciting opportunity to work for the Lifeline & Response service

The Lifeline provide a 24/7 support service for vulnerable and elderly residents. The Lifeline service answers calls from these residents from their emergency Lifeline alarms and also receives calls out of hours within the Borough of Redbridge this includes, social services, District Nurses, Homeless and other internal & external agencies.

The post will require working unsupervised at times in the Control room outside normal office hours, including weekends and bank holidays, using own knowledge, skill, and judgement.

The response service includes assisting clients, who may have fallen in their own homes installing lifeline alarms, please note full training will be given.

The Service is looking to appoint an officer who brings a ‘can-do’ attitude and will complement the existing Lifeline & response team.
