Operational Services Co-Ordinator (BR24), Glasgow

Location: Bield Glasgow office, G4 9XA

Salary: £37,707 - £40,523 per annum (Pro rata for Part Time)

We’re now seeking an Operational Services Co-Ordinator within BR24, who will manage the BR24 Management Team, accountable for the delivery of a professional, customer focused and efficient Emergency Responder Service.

The Role:

BR24 is the first point of contact for our predominately older & vulnerable people calling into Bield’s 24-hour operating Alarm Receiving Centre.

Reporting to Head of BR24 and Assistive Technology Development, the successful candidate will lead the operational aspects within the busy alarm receiving centre, contributing to achieving objectives and outcomes aligned with the organisation’s strategic objectives and improving performance against the KPI’s for the team. You will ensure best practice and compliance with regulatory requirements are embedded in our systems and practice, work collaboratively with the relevant stakeholders and support the on-call responsibilities when required.

Hours of work: This is a permanent full time post, working 35 per week, Monday - Friday, 9.00 am – 5.00 pm, including a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.

Location: Due to operational reasons, this role is based on-site in our Glasgow office.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Ensure a consistent approach is taken in the management of customer and stakeholder contact
  • Manage complaints, concerns, and compliments, focusing on providing the right solution
  • Liaise with key external partners (customers, suppliers, industry bodies and peers) around opportunities for innovation, improvement, and commercial return
  • Ensure that the team meet all Business Strategy and operational objectives in addition to complying with external regulation
  • Assist in the compilation of reports and analysis on the calls and response times to facilitate continuous improvement processes
  • Represent Bield externally at appropriate forums
  • Ensure effective and consistent management of the BR24 team to deliver its agreed operational objectives and targets
  • Lead, motivate and develop the team to enable them to provide high quality services and contribute to the achievement of Bield’s strategic objectives
