We are seeking to recruit 2 fulltime Project Officers on permanent contracts to support our development to a TEC first approach across Adults Care and Wellbeing Services. You will align with Sheffield City Council’s core values and be able to demonstrate the appropriate behaviours.
We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, communicative, enthusiastic, and passionate about improving the quality of people's lives, supporting people to fulfil their potential for independent living by contributing to the deployment of TEC services at scale across the city.
The role will require you to develop and maintain effective collaborations with a range of stakeholders including Occupational Therapists, Social Care Practitioners, Social Workers, District Nurses, and Care Providers. You will be a good communicator with strong presentation skills, with the ability to win hearts and minds to support the uptake of TEC services which complement the day-to-day delivery of care across a wide range of services.
You will be able to evidence strong project management skills and experience in the delivery of successful projects on time and within budget. You will have good analytical skills and experience of evaluation in support of Tests of Change.
You will be involved in embedding the ethos of a TEC first approach initially in adult social care services, for the benefit of people in receipt of care, their families and carers.
The successful applicant will need to have a good knowledge and understanding of TEC Services in the context of Adult Social Care, be an excellent team player, be able to manage their own workload under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment. You will need to be able to communicate and liaise effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
In return you will receive a comprehensive induction and training plan which will include training in TEC Services. We will also offer you excellent peer support, regular supervision, opportunities to build on existing skills and knowledge, and play a key role in service transformation that is looking to bring real benefits across Sheffield City Council's Adult Social Care Service.
