Leading the transition to next-generation Technology Enabled Care

Progress Housing Group isseekingan experienced and forward-thinking leader to become the next Director of Progress Lifeline, guiding the service through its next phase of development at a pivotal time for the technology enabled care sector.

Progress Lifeline provides technology enabled care (TEC) services that support people to live safely and independently in their homes through telecare, assistivetechnologyand monitoring services. Working in partnership with local authorities, housing providers and health and care organisations, Lifeline plays a vital role in supporting preventative care and independent living across communities.

Followingnearly 20years ofinspirationalleadership from the current Director, we are now recruiting a new Director to lead Lifeline into its next chapter.

 

The Opportunity

Technology enabled care services are entering a period of significant transformation as the sector transitions from analogue to digital technology.

As Director of Progress Lifeline, you will provide strategic leadership for the service, ensuring strong operational performance while guiding the successful transition to digital technology enabled care solutions.

You will also play a key role in strengthening partnerships across housing, health and social care andidentifyingopportunities to further develop and innovate Lifeline services.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a service that sits at the intersection of housing, technology,healthand social care, helping shape the future of independent living.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for Progress Lifeline, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational performance
  • Lead the transition from analogue to digital technology enabled care services
  • Strengthen partnerships with local authorities, housingprovidersand sector partners
  • Identifyopportunities to develop and enhance technology enabled care services
  • Ensure strong governance, riskmanagementand financial performance
  • Lead and inspire teams through a period of sector transformation and technological change

 

About You

We are looking for a senior leader who can guide services through change whilemaintainingstrong operational delivery.

You may come from a range of sectors including:

  • Technology enabled care or telecare
  • Assistive technology
  • Telecoms or digital services
  • Housing,healthor social care

You will bring:

  • Senior leadership experience managing complex services
  • Experience leading service transformation or digital change
  • Strong partnership and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial awareness and the ability toidentifyservice development opportunities
  • The ability to lead teams through change and innovation

Experience within technology enabled care or related sectors would beadvantageousbut is not essential.
