Sector Risk and Innovation Group (S​RIG)

The overall purpose of the Sector Risk and Innovation Group (SRIG) is to act in response to operational risks and opportunities by commissioning and overseeing the delivery of a number of different work programmes.

The specific responsibilities of the Group include:

  • Support the TSA Senior Management Team in identifying and understanding operational risks.
  • Commission and oversee the delivery of time-bound work programmes to respond to key operational risks.
  • Maintain an annual workplan, that the Boards have clear visibility of, which responds to the key operational sector risks and opportunities.
  • Review and challenge TSA capacity to deliver the projects and take action, where necessary.
  • Oversee the recruitment of Innovation and Challenge Panel (ICP) members.
  • Appoint ICP members to ICGs.
  • Make proposals to TEC Quality Board (via SMT which includes the Scheme Manager) for changes to the Quality Standards Framework (QSF).
