AI in TEC: Understanding the opportunities, applications and risks of AI in technology enabled care

You are invited to join us for our upcoming webinar:

Date: Wednesday 18 November 2026

Time: 15:00 - 16:00

Location: Online Via MS Teams

Artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to influence how technology enabled care services are designed and delivered. But what is already happening across the sector? Where is AI being applied today, what opportunities might it offer, and what questions should organisations be asking?

To help TSA members navigate this evolving landscape, TSA's Sector Risk and Innovation Group (SRIG) has established a new AI in TEC workstream, chaired by Monty Alexander. The programme will bring the sector together to explore practical applications, share learning and support informed, responsible decision-making.

The programme will be educational and vendor-neutral, with no promotion or endorsement of particular products or suppliers.

Join our first AI in TEC webinar titled: Understanding the opportunities, applications and risks of AI in technology enabled care

Our first online session will set the scene for the programme, exploring the current AI landscape, how AI is being used across technology enabled care and related sectors, and the opportunities and challenges emerging from its application.

The session will explore:

  • What's happening now? Where AI is already being applied and what the sector can learn from developments across TEC and related services.
  • What opportunities and challenges are emerging? The issues organisations need to understand as they consider the potential role of AI in care and support.
  • What questions should the sector be asking? The priorities emerging from TSA's member survey, with an opportunity to contribute to the discussion and help shape future sessions.

Shaped by TSA members

This programme is being developed in response to the questions, priorities and concerns raised by TSA members.

Members have highlighted important issues around accountability, safety, trust and keeping people at the heart of care. These themes will help inform future sessions and practical resources, supporting a shared understanding of AI and its potential role in technology enabled care.

Whether your organisation is already exploring AI or is still considering what it could mean for your services, this is an opportunity to understand the wider landscape and contribute to a sector-led conversation.
