The National Sector Support Group (NSSG) has been created to tackle some of the issues that continue to hold back wider investment in technology enabled care.

Across the sector, we know there are strong examples of TEC improving lives, supporting prevention and helping services work differently. But that story is not always being heard clearly by the people making decisions about policy, commissioning and funding.

If we want to see greater investment in TEC, we need to be clearer about the evidence, outcomes and value behind it.

That means understanding what decision-makers actually need to see, how they assess value and risk, and how we make the case for TEC in language that works beyond our own sector.

Over the next three years, the programme will bring organisations together to strengthen the evidence base, improve sector messaging, support better commissioning and help create the conditions for greater investment in TEC.

Join us to hear:

  • Why the NSSG has been established and what problems it is trying to solve.
  • Why the sector needs to think differently about how it talks to policymakers, commissioners and financial decision-makers.
  • What evidence and data those audiences need to make confident decisions.
  • How we can make the case for TEC more clearly across health, housing and social care.
  • What the NSSG will deliver over the next three years.
  • What has already happened and what comes next.
  • How the programme is governed and how funding partners are involved.
  • How TSA members can contribute to the work as it develops.

Paul Berney, TSA Deputy CEO, will talk through the thinking behind the programme, how we have reached this point and what we want the NSSG to achieve for the wider sector.

There will also be plenty of time for questions and discussion.

Why join?

If we want TEC to play a bigger role in future health, housing and social care, we need a stronger collective case for why people should invest in it.

This session is your chance to understand how the NSSG is approaching that challenge, ask questions directly and find out how you can contribute to the work ahead.
